Is your website visible to AI?
Find out in 60 seconds.
18 instant checks on a 10-page sample: llms.txt, AI-bot access, schema markup, titles, HTTPS, content depth and more — the same signals ChatGPT, Gemini and Google look at.
What the free scan actually checks
The scan runs 18 checks against your live site — the same kind of plain HTTP checks we used in our published research on 25 Indian D2C websites. They fall into three groups:
- AI readiness — does an llms.txt file exist and describe your business? Does robots.txt allow or block GPTBot, Google-Extended and PerplexityBot? Is there FAQ schema — the markup most associated with being quoted in AI answers?
- Search basics — title length (Google truncates past ~60 characters), meta description, exactly one H1, canonical tag, sitemap present and referenced, schema.org JSON-LD, image alt texts and internal links on a 10-page sample.
- Trust & speed — HTTPS, HSTS, mobile viewport, Open Graph tags (what your link looks like when shared on WhatsApp), and server response time.
A worked example: scanning our own site
The fairest demo is the one you can verify, so here is what the scan reports for www.growkitt.com itself — every line below is checkable from your own browser:
- llms.txt: found, hand-written. Open growkitt.com/llms.txt — it describes the product in plain language instead of platform boilerplate (our research found 100% of checked Shopify stores serve generic boilerplate).
- AI crawlers: allowed. Our robots.txt doesn't block GPTBot, Google-Extended or PerplexityBot — we want to be read by the engines that answer buyers.
- FAQ schema: present on this very page — view source and you'll find the FAQPage JSON-LD generated from the real questions below, never from invented ones.
- HTTPS + HSTS: pass. Sitemap: present. Open Graph: custom image, so links shared on WhatsApp show a proper preview.
When the scan finds a fail instead of a pass, it tells you in the same plain language — "title is 74 characters, Google will cut it around 60" — not a jargon code.
What the full report contains
On screen you get every check with a pass/fail and a one-line explanation, free and without signup. If you leave a WhatsApp number or email, we also send a PDF report with the same results plus a prioritised fix checklist — which failures cost you the most visibility, in what order to fix them, and which fixes take five minutes (most llms.txt and meta-tag fixes do, using the free web tools). No retainer pitch, no call required.
And if you want these checks running on your whole site — up to 10,000 pages, re-checked whenever you like, alongside live AI-visibility scans across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity — that is the GrowKitt desktop app: 34 tools, one payment from ₹9,999, no subscription.
Free scan — common questions
Is this scan really free?
Yes — completely, and you can read every result on screen without signing up. If you also want the PDF report and a fix checklist written for your own website, leave a WhatsApp number or an email — whichever you prefer. We built this because checking AI-readiness should take a minute, not a sales call.
What does the free scan check?
18 checks on your homepage plus a 10-page site sample and your domain files: llms.txt, robots.txt and AI-bot access, schema.org markup, FAQ schema, title and meta description, H1, canonical, Open Graph, mobile viewport, HTTPS, HSTS, sitemap, response speed, content depth, image alt texts and internal links.
How is this different from the GrowKitt app?
This scans a 10-page sample as a quick health check. The GrowKitt desktop app audits your entire website — up to 10,000 pages — and adds live AI visibility scanning across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, plus 34 marketing tools, for a one-time payment.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. You enter your website and read the full report immediately — no account, no password, no card. The only thing we ask for is a WhatsApp number or email if you want the PDF and your personalised fix checklist, and even then you can skip it and simply keep reading on screen.
What happens with my WhatsApp number or email?
We use it to send you that report and the fixes for your site, and to let you know if the live AI-visibility scan finds something worth fixing. That is all. We never sell or share your number, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by messaging us.
